A deal for today

Here are the details for this mode. A daily deal uses the standard 104-card Spider rules. Daily Challenge on hnhange.com offers one dated Spider deal for each supported suit count. Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls. The displayed challenge date identifies the daily set you are playing.

The challenge clock

The following details apply here. A new calendar day in the challenge timezone produces another set of deals. The date shown beside the controls is the date used for the current deal. This website uses America/New_York to determine its challenge date. Your device's local date can differ from the challenge date near midnight.

The same daily start

The challenge date and selected suit count determine the starting shuffle. Loading the same date and suit count reproduces that starting layout. The daily shuffle is not selected from the verified winning-deal collection. Different suit settings are separate daily challenges.

The daily objective

Here are the details for this mode. Clear eight same-suit sequences from King down to Ace to win. A full face-up sequence is collected automatically at the bottom of a column. A mixed-suit sequence does not count as a completed run. The run counter records your progress toward clearing all 104 cards.

Move and build

The following details apply here. A single exposed card can land on a card exactly one rank higher, regardless of suit. A King needs an empty column because no higher rank can receive it. A group moves together only when its cards descend in one suit. An empty column accepts any legal movable group.

Use the stock

The following details apply here. New stock cards can both create useful moves and interrupt existing sequences. Each stock deal places one face-up card on all ten columns. The daily table begins with fifty cards in the stock. Every column must be occupied before you can deal from the stock.

Saving today's progress

Keep these points in mind. Returning to the same challenge can restore that saved position. With saving enabled, the browser stores your current daily game for each suit setting. Saved daily positions belong to this browser profile and domain. Loading a new day's challenge replaces the saved daily position for that suit setting.

A new challenge is available

Keep these points in mind. The Today's challenge control loads the current day's deal. A date change displays a notice without replacing the cards you are playing. An open daily game checks periodically for a changed challenge date while the page is visible. Completing an older open game records the date attached to that game.

Track daily completions

The following details apply here. The local completion record is not a public leaderboard or an account-based history. Winning the same dated challenge repeatedly counts as one distinct daily completion. My Statistics shows daily starts and wins separately for each suit setting. A completed challenge is also recorded by its date and suit count in this browser.

Options for another attempt

A few details help explain this feature. Replay starts the same daily layout again. Hints offer legal moves without guaranteeing a route to victory. Undo can reverse a successful card move or a stock deal while history is available. Use Winning Deals when you want a starting position with a checked complete solution.
